The worst sinner, the best hope.

The worst sinner? Really? Here is the next verse:
But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. -1 Timothy 1:16

You know Paul was a pretty bad guy. BUT GOD. Paul called himself the worst of the sinners, the worst.
BUT GOD. This is our hope. NO matter how worst we think we are, no matter how worst we act, no matter, we are loved, forgiven, chosen, we are children of God. Not because we have earned it, more likely in spite of ourselves. BUT GOD.

God is always our hope. Thankfully we can feel like the worst – the worst Mom, the worst driver, the worst giver, the worst listener, the worst cook, the worst (insert your worst). BUT GOD. He reminds us of who we are in Him. No longer slaves but free. No longer the worst but redeemed. So from one worst sinner to another, embrace hope.

God loves you anyway, sent Jesus anyway, forgives you over and over anyway, picks you anyway.
God is love and this is our hope.

Now, the million dollar question is, how will it look when you let this hope dwell deep within you? How will it look when you share this hope? Hint – it will be what love looks like. You got this, we got you!
