Instant change = uncomfortable
Not bad,but uncomfortable. I've been making big behind the scenes changes here at backrowfaith.com and my comfort zone has been stretched, really stretched. My brain hurts a little, okay a little more than a little, from all the stretching and learning and changing.
I now know things about search engine optimization, anti-spam plug-ins and DSN settings and...If I'm speaking another language don't feel bad, I only just had a crash course in it. So its kinda like my Russian. I have about 20-30 words/phrases I know really well. For the rest I have to watch videos and stop and rewind and start again, read up on it and ask my favorite Russian language expert.
Anytime we commit to learn something new or take it to the next level there is instant and usually uncomfortable change. Change is absolutely neccessary to live, period. If you are not growing/changing you are dying.
Whether we are talking about your health, your finances, or your faith journey - change/growth is a must.
Want to get in better physical shape? Change your eating habits and start an exersize routine. Want to get in better finacial shape? Change your spending habits and make a financal plan.
Want to a fuller faith life? Make some changes in the amount of time you spend praying, reading - the bible and devotionals, and finding out what your favorite faith/prayer expert is sharing. Basically - commit to more.
13 Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.
Philippians 4:13 (MSG)
Guess what the super, awesome good news is - God never changes.
He is constant - constantly loving us, forgiving us, guiding us, calling us.
No matter where we are God meets us there, in the pit of candy wrappers, in the pit of more month at the end of the money, in the darkest places, He comes for us, helps us, changes us. We just need to reach-out and commit to Him.
So what's your take it to another level 1,2,3?
You totally got this♥Go.Be.Love
