July 20th, 2017 - Love to share our faves and this is no exception!
Irina is training for a marathon! Putting those kind of miles on a body requires periodic refueling mid-run.
These are our go to beans for quick energy. Get your Jelly Belly Sport Beans.
I use these babies when I train for 1/2 marathons - body.mind.soul energy!
Irina and I are thrilled to share a brand new addition to our favorites page - The More of Less: Finding the Life You Want Under Everything You Own by Joshua Becker.
Irina read The More of Less first and she said it totally changed her life. Joshua articulated in simple terms, he helped her to focus on what's really important and defined purpose in a different way.
My quick cliff notes - A guy realizes how different life could be with less stuff (less is a relative term as is minimalist). He starts making changes, starts a blog, becomes part of a movement...
I have to admit, it took me quite a while to finish this book. Every time I picked it up I felt convicted, like he was telling me I had too much stuff. He wasn't. But I did. I started making changes. I purged. Oh man did it feel amazing! I donated, I threw stuff in the garbage. I found so many treasures, I had a rummage sale. Can you say fun money!
I loved how he poked and asked questions. What would life look like if I didn't have to spend X number of hours picking up and cleaning? What would I do with the extra time? And money - money starts to hang around longer when we decide less stuff is needed. Number one we spend less, number two we tend to use what we have longer. Smaller spaces usually mean lower bills, less time on maintenance, you get it.

The running joke/truth is I'm the talker in Pure Grace.
However when I asked Irina to share a favorite she said ALL this about Urbal Tea.
I think my title my be in jepordy. LOL
A little story of the day Irina met Nick and feel head over heels for Urbal Tea!
It was a bitterly cold Saturday morning and I was on a mission!
My mission, to find like-minded people who think of health and wellness in many dimensions.
You know like body.mind.soul wellness. The whole package.
I attended the Wellness Expo in Madison. As I roamed the rows of vendors things seemed very promising, finding what I was looking for seemed inevitable.
In case you didn't know, I am always on the lookout for good tea.
It needs to taste really good and if it has health benefits – bonus.
I turned the corner, and the rest is history!
The aroma coming from a dozen of beautifully set up tea samples was captivating.
It drew me right in. As I tasted one of the teas, I was instantly hooked.
When I asked what the name of the company was, a young man introduced himself and proudly declared,
"This is a local company called Urbal Tea – Liquid for Life!".
That man was Nick Nowaczyk, the company's owner.
We clicked right away as his tea-obsession story reminded so much of mine – nature, herbs, family, passion, love for his community
and a desire to make the world a healthier and more educated place, and in a hip kinda way.
When our conversation was over, he said he wanted me to be an ambassador for Urbal Tea
so we could share our passion for tea together.
What an honor, I get to share my love for tea and wellness with my friends and
they get a 10% discount on their purchase!

Finally because I'm obsessed - in a good way♥ I love, love, love long lashes and I love this 3D fiber mascara!
I love this book so much I gave it to Irina's husband, Brent, as a pre-wedding gift.
My husband and I have both read it to strengthen our relationship.
My main love language is Acts of Service but I do like words of affirmation from time to time.
This absolute gem is a must read and a total re-read every few months.
Love Does by Bob Goff is one of our all time favorite books where love is an action and you make it happen.
Bob is a mover and shaker and funny storyteller and child of God.
This book will change your life if you let it.
Proceeds from Love Does go to Restore International and The Mentoring Project.
Both are committed to loving kids in tangible ways.
Ahhh Liz, holy cats can this girl tell a story!
Really Bad Girls of the Bible by Liz Curtis Higgs
Liz takes women you know from the bible, places them in real situations and we see ourselves.
Trust me, read this♥
The Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning
Never have I read a more beautiful yet jarring reminder of who we are,
who we belong to and what that really means.
"The love of Christ is beyond all knowledge, beyond anything we can intellectualize or imagine.
It is not a mild benevolence but a consuming fire." - Brennan Manning
