God has amazing plans and purposes for your life but if you are constantly focused on what you don't like about your weight, your health and your life and yet not taking the steps necessary to have the life you want, how will you ever live into the life He has imagined for you?
You’ve probably heard the statistic that 95% to 98% of dieters can’t keep the weight off, and when they gain it back they often gain MORE than they weighed before. Research has proven that dieting can and mostly does backfire AND can mess up your metabolism.
What’s important about this dieting statistic?
This statistic is important because if you want to lose weight, I'm betting you want to keep it off. I hear you Momma, you're tired physically, mentally, spiritually. I see you trying to do it all and feeling like a failure. You just want to feel confident in your skin, have more energy and stress less, right? You want to take a breath and have the time to take in the presence of the One who created you.
God made you for more, for thriving not striving.
And you deserve to have it all.
But if diets don’t work and they don't because no one wants to take all the fun stuff away, feel restricted or deprived all the time.
Side note: If you are set on restricting then restrict your exposure to things that steal your joy, take you away from God and make you feel less than. Go on a permanent diet from that b.s.
