Faithful Friday finds us in Ephesians.
You are being built as a dwelling place for God. You are currently under construction. The Holy Spirit is your foreman.
If you have ever built anything you know it takes time, patience, a plan, a willingness to go back to the drawing board if necessary. This is Life on Purpose. Being perfected in Christ, while still being a work in progress.
In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode (dwelling place) of God in (by, through) the Spirit.- Ephesians 2:22 AMPC
In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by[a] the Spirit. - Ephesians 2:22 ESV
In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. - Ephesians 2:22 KJV
Trials come, you are being built. Victories come, you are being built. A child is born, you are being built. A loved one dies, you are being built. Everything is going your way, you are being built. Nothing is going your way, you are being built.
What does being built look like in your life right now? New job, troubled relationship, transition from one season in life to another?
Here at Pure Grace it looks like Mindi getting her butt kicked by a terrible cold/flu thing. It looks like planning a trip for the entire Pure Grace team to Arlington, VA for the Marine Corp Marathon. It looks like Irina embracing her Lenten promise to pray out loud, and to pray boldly. It looks like Life on Purpose.
Join the Pure Grace community where being built as a dwelling place is an adventure filled with passion and purpose.
