Well my friends, it’s all about that body, your body.
In our 6th installment of the Body.Mind.Soul transformation series I have stumbled across something very interesting. I asked a few friends to give me their take on body transformation. They couldn’t do it without including mind and soul.
It totally confirms what we say around Pure Grace - We are three in one. We need triune harmony to exist in order to be whole body.mind.soul.
When we set a temperature it starts in our mind or our soul, it can't get to the body any other way. Transformation - a thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance, a better outcome, a new way of being....
To be honest being in Mommyland every single day can, on occasion, be daunting. But, I find when I start the day with God, before my feet even hit the floor, it makes all of the difference in the world. I not only want a healthy body, but a healthy and sound mind too. Being balanced is so important for us as women, but also for our kids. When I am healthy through mind, body and spirit my kids are healthy too. They see their mom living a life through God, a mom that takes care of her body and a mom that gets to use her time to pray and talk to God. I am planting the seeds for my kids to be disciples of God. It starts with me! - Amanda Middleton
We are bombarded - magazines, television, social media: “She is so beautiful; her legs are her best asset, her smile knocks everybody off their feet!” Then we look in the mirror and start analyzing our own body. I am too big, too short, too skinny, too many wrinkles, cheeks too chubby, face too bony, nose too long – what kind of self image is that? Would God be happy to hear that we are not approving of the way he created us? When we think these things are we criticizing Him? That’s an interesting thought.
When I see the word “transformation”, I have a visual of a giant robot turning into a race car, wait, this is not a science fiction movie!
SIDE NOTE from Mindi - Maybe because Irina has two young boys she sees us as transformers. lol
